Junior Position in Clearing and Settlement

Principal duties and responsibilities include handling On-Exchange and OTC settlements as well as special settlements (cross-border, physical securities, ADR conversions and Euroclear settlements). You will create and send daily x-clear margin reports, pending/settlement reports, cash forecast reports to clients. You will have extensive contact with clients via email and telephone.

The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

• A commercial apprenticeship in the banking industry or equivalent experience.
• Fluency in German and Swiss German essential, good written and oral communication skills in English, additional European languages would be an advantage.
• Good time management skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office applications e.g. Word and Excel.
• Self-motivated team player, able to work with little direct supervision.
• A proactive approach to problem solving.
